The "computational knowledge engine"

Created by Stephen Wolfram - a rather clever guy! - scientist, inventor, author, and business leader.

I am absolutley fascinated by this new search engine.

It gives you real answers and real information...

Type in your name and it tells you how common it is:

Apparently my name is most often found in old people - but i feel the average age of 3 years for Ellie evens it out a tad

It calculates sums

AND

if you type in 'the meaning of life'

It tells you '42' as in the answer to life, the universe, and everything, from Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Pure genius!

painting windows

Fascinated by these window illustrations by Andy Council.

Love how he uses everyday objects to create monsters and dinosaurs - reminds me of a big art attack.

Also I really like the way that light through the glass and windows will project shadows and the illustration into the room - a really nice a idea for a kid's bedroom. And could create some fantastic guerilla ads too.

Quite inspired to try it myself - hope the parents won't mind.

Eugenio - you genius!

I absolutely love Eugenio Recuenco's images - as far as fashion photography goes I think he is up there with the best. Since I discovered him 4 or 5 years ago he is certainly making a big name for himself in Spain (clearly I'm having a spanish phase of influnce right now)

These two caught my eye and made me chuckle, it seems a little different from some of his other stuff. They still have that exciting dark edge, but with some sartorial comedy added. I think they were shot for a Wilkinson campaign

Check out more of his work (there is a plenty of it) - he will NOT disappoint

His pictures are so atmospheric, there is a wonderful tone to them- quite recogniseable. His attention to detail is phenomenal. Thought provoking and always stunning.
